What to look for
14 seconds from the air is enough to see what still photos flatten: how the deck sits against the house and the lot, how the levels connect, and where the roofline lands. Watch for:
- The tongue-and-groove ceiling, recessed lights and ceiling fan that turn the upper deck into a true outdoor room.
- Black horizontal metal railing, kept low-profile so the open-space view behind the house stays open.
- The custom steel spiral staircase winding from the deck down to the patio.
- The covered lower patio that the deck structure shades off the walk-out level.
